ZOE JAEGER WEYER

RED CREEK - It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden death of Zoe Jaeger Weyer of Wilton, Conn., on July 29, 2008. She died of a major brain hemorrhage.


Zoe was born in Syracuse and raised in Red Creek; she was 66 years old. She was preceded in death by: her father, Charles Jaeger and her mother Marjorie Jaeger.

She was active in her church, was an avid reader, and was a champion knitter, even spinning her own yarn. She taught knitting to anyone who was interested, and held several classes a week in knitting and in jewelry making.

She will be remembered most for her passionate commitment to and love of her family. Zoe is survived by: her husband, John; her daughters Kim Fox and husband of Wilton, Molly Knapp and husband of Novato, Calif.; son Jacy Weyer of Portland, Ore.; her three grandchildren, Macallan Fox, Sammy Knapp and Charlie Knapp and her sister Diane Ploussard of San Angelo, Texas.

Her funeral Mass was held July 31 in Wilton.

Zoe was a breast cancer survivor, and if desired, a contribution to the American Cancer Society in her name would be appreciated.
